Jammin’ Java coffee beans are cultivated on bio-diverse lands free from herbicides and pesticides providing a safer environment for our farm workers, while striving to sustain the health of the earth. Shade grown and organic farming methods make for healthier soil, prevent water contamination and provide habitat for dozens of species of migratory birds. Farms that slash and burn fields for full sun penetration may have higher coffee yields and reduce costs, but this badly damages sensitive ecosystems. Coffee grown on bio-diverse farms creates a more complex, high quality cup, while maintaining sensitive ecosystems. This is also a fundamental component of Jammin’ Java’s outstanding flavor.
